great way to "get your knees in the breeze", to experience the thrill
of skydiving while under close supervision of an experienced instructor.
A tandem skydive at Adrenalin

Island is the place for your first tandem skydive! Bribie Island being
the only Island close to Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Redcliffe that
you can drive to!
Here's
a few things about the day you'll experience. We meet at the lookout
in Woorim(Boyd St.) and we land right back there on the beach. Once
you have filled out the correct paperwork, decided what height you
wish to jump from (10,000 or 12,000 ) and whether you want to remember
your jump with digital VIDEO/DVD, an experienced tandem instructor
will train you for the biggest rush.
A short drive takes you to the Caboolture Airport to
board a plane designed for skydiving with your instructor and fellow
jumpers. At our exit height, you will be clipped to a parachute designed
for two people. Say "Hi," to your mates and give us a smile for your
photos and video. When it's time to leave the aircraft it will be
with an experienced tandem instructor.
Experience an adrenalin pumping
freefall for up to 60 seconds at speeds of around 200km per hour over
the ocean (depending on wind directions). Once at the right height
your instructor activates the parachute and you will be shown how
to steer the parachute and be guided back to the island for landing.
For added safety, we carry two parachutes and each complete system
is fitted with its own automatic opening device as a back up.
